Rhona
I come from an entrepreneurial background having set up and run several small businesses, complementing this with an MA in entrepreneurship.
I have acted as a small business development consultant, advisor and trainer in the UK and overseas, working with both traditional as well as social enterprises. My work with not-for-profit organisations has given me experience of supporting organisations across a range of sectors including arts and culture, community and economic development.
I have particular expertise in supporting effective governance and do this through reviews, training, designing and putting in place appropriate policies and tools.
Pat
I bring a practical academic background with experience in enterprise and economic development.
Following a doctorate which examined the impact of enterprise programmes in the UK, I have worked as a researcher, educator and trainer in the university sector. I have also worked as a business adviser in the public and third sector designing, delivering and managing a variety of enterprise support interventions throughout the UK and overseas. This experience has equipped me well for supporting effective enterprise development in its broadest sense.
I bring particular expertise in designing delivering and supporting appropriate monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment activities.
